You now have the ability to message an entire participant group at once. You can broadcast messages to participant groups to:

  1. Send announcements about your study or task
  2. Clarify instructions or provide more detail during your study or task
  3. Remind participants about any upcoming studies or tasks (for example, when running a longitudinal study)

Please note that group messages are visible to all participants in the group, creating a public chat environment. Be mindful of any sensitive or confidential information shared in these messages.

The group messaging feature remains active across multiple studies and even after studies are completed, allowing for continued communication with your participant group as needed.

How do I use this feature?

Follow these simple steps to send a message to a participant group:

1. Navigate to the messaging section on the side bar.

2. Select ‘Messages’ and click ‘New message’.

3. Click ‘Message a group’ and select the group you’d like to message from the drop-down menu.

4. Once you’re happy with your message click ‘Create’ and your group will be notified. If you have multiple live studies, double-check that you've selected the correct participant group to ensure your message reaches the intended audience.
