A common question we get is whether or not Prolific can help with dyadic studies.
We don't offer the experimental software itself, but we can provide the participants. At any given moment during daytime in your local time zone, hundreds of participants are active on our site. This makes it possible to pair them up for dyadic experiments or run multiplayer games.
Prolific uses convenience sampling, meaning study places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Good to know:
We cannot guarantee successful pairings
You will need to specify wait times for participants waiting to be matched
Participants may need a partial payment if they aren't matched
Participants cannot be rejected for failing to match
