How do I close my account?
- When logged in, click on your initial to the top right of your Prolific account, then click ‘Account’
- Scroll to the bottom of your Account page where you will see the option to delete your account. Click the ‘Delete’ button on the right side

If you have any remaining funds in your account, these will need to be refunded before the account can be closed. For details on how to request a refund, see Can I request a refund of my workspace balance? All studies must be completed before a refund can be requested.
