How do I set single or multiple submissions for my study?

Updated this week

Choose whether participants can complete your study once or multiple times.

Use single submission for unique responses, or multiple submissions to collect data faster when uniqueness isn’t required.

Single submissions

Each participant can complete your study once.

Note: For quota and representative samples, this is applied automatically and won’t appear in setup.

Set up single submission

  1. Go to the Submissions section of the study setup page

  2. Select Once

What participants see

The study is removed from a participant’s dashboard after they complete their submission.

Participants may be able to reopen your external survey link. To prevent duplicate responses in your survey tool, see How do I prevent duplicate submissions in my external survey software?

Multiple submissions

Allow participants to complete your study more than once.

Set up multiple submissions

  1. Go to the Submissions section of the study setup page

  2. Select Multiple

  3. Enter the maximum number of submissions each participant can make

What participants see

The study remains on participants’ dashboards until one of the following:

  • They reach the submission limit

  • The study fills up

  • They select Not interested

Auto-approval

Submissions can be auto-approved as usual.

Important: Submissions completed in less than half the estimated time won’t be auto-approved and must be reviewed manually.
